Job summary

Ocean Steel is seeking a skilled fabrication worker to read blueprints and operate fabricating equipment in our Saint John plant. You will handle band saws, CNC punches, shears, CNC drills and burning machines, and you will safely use an overhead crane while keeping the workspace clean.

Requirements include 1–3 years in a steel fabrication environment and a high school diploma; overhead crane experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years experience in steel fabrication environment.
• Experience with Overhead Crane or rigging and hoisting is an asset.
• Blueprint reading.
• Completion of high school
