Job summary

Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a reliable Rear Load Operator to safely operate a Class 3 Rear Loader Refuse vehicle across sites in New Brunswick. The role includes inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment and performing daily pre/post-trip checks.

You will drive to tire retailers and similar locations, load the truck, and ensure timely pickups with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. A pension/benefits package is offered after three months of continuous employment.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driver abstract.
• Class 3 driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to follow a firm work schedule.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Operate required equipment safely and responsibly.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Previous recycling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Rear Load truck to pickup locations safely and efficiently.
• Complete pickups at tire retailers, junkyards, and similar sites.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks.
• Load and unload materials and equipment under varying conditions.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Report maintenance needs or repairs to the supervisor.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately at end of day.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Be aware of surroundings at all times and perform other duties as assigned.
