Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in electronic trading or capital markets.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with P&L and risk reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of trading technology and financial markets.
• Experience diagnosing issues within complex, real-time systems.

This is a highly technical role combining Python software development, live trading systems and production engineering. You will work closely with traders and technology teams, troubleshooting issues affecting live trading while building tools and automation to improve the reliability and scalability of the trading environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of current market structure and relevant regulatory developments
• Experience diagnosing issues within complex, real-time systems

The Ideal Profile

We’re particularly interested in candidates who combine hands-on engineering ability with genuine trading-domain knowledge. You may currently be working in trading operations, trading technology, production engineering, electronic trading support or a similar function.

This is not a traditional IT support or back-office operations position. Strong Python skills and experience working directly with trading systems, P&L, risk or live market environments are important.
