Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the development and enhancement of a mission-critical trading platform. This role involves a combination of long‑term strategic development and business‑driven initiatives focused on increasing trading automation, expanding electronic trading capabilities, and developing algorithmic trading solutions. The successful candidate will gain expertise across multiple platform components and take full ownership of projects from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the financial services, capital markets, or trading industry.
• Knowledge of Scala and/or Python.
• Experience supporting electronic trading, algorithmic trading, or trading platform development.
• Familiarity with low‑latency, high‑performance, or real‑time systems.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Willingness to learn and work with emerging technologies and AI‑driven solutions.
• Understanding of fixed income trading workflows and electronic trading systems.

Certifications

• No specific certifications required.
• Oracle Java Certifications are considered a plus.
