Job summary

OdinVision Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario (or remote) is seeking a C++ Software Development Engineer to build high-performance modules for OdinVision’s AVB platform.

You will design, implement and optimize real-time image processing components powering industrial inspection systems across automotive and medical sectors. You will work with cross-functional teams to ship production-ready features, emphasize clean, well-tested code in modern C++11/14/17, and contribute to driver integration and hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17).
• Familiarity with embedded systems or industrial communication protocols is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core C++ modules for the AVB platform and SDK
• Optimize image processing pipelines for real-time performance
• Integrate camera drivers, communication protocols (GigE, RS-485/Modbus), and hardware interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following modern C++ standards
• Collaborate with algorithm and application teams to ship production-ready features
