Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in Property Accounting.
• Minimum of two years in a full cycle accounting role.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is an asset.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify irregularities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Property Managers, Directors, Asset Managers and clients on properties within portfolio.
• Prepare monthly reporting including pre-close, HST, variance and financial packages.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record cash and accrual entries.
• Prepare shared facility reconciliations and billings for commercial tenants.
• Analyze property-level activity and ensure accurate financial representation.
• Assist with accounting setup for new properties and final disposition of others.
