We have an opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer to join our established Corporate Team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial and residential real estate transactions and matters, including property acquisitions, leases, zoning, and financing. You will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, minimizing risk, and facilitating successful property transactions for our clients.

What you will do :

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other real estate documents.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, sales, development, and financing.
• Collaborate with clients to review, explain, and execute documents related to their transaction.
• Advise clients on zoning laws, property rights, title issues, land use, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct due diligence investigations, including reviewing title searches, surveys, and property histories.
• Liaise with brokers, lenders, surveyors, and government agencies on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
• Stay current on legal developments in the real estate sector and provide strategic guidance accordingly.

What you bring :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Good standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and regulatory issues.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
