Altis Recruitment is partnering with a growing real estate developer to recruit a Finance Manager in Ottawa, ON. This fully onsite role offers a compensation range of $120,000-$130,000 plus bonus, with strong potential to influence accounting processes and leadership across the finance team.

You'll oversee financial reporting, coordinate audits, contribute to a Yardi implementation, and coach staff while partnering with senior leadership to explain numbers and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience within real estate development.
• Experience managing accounting or finance staff.
• Ownership of external audits and sound accounting judgment.
• Strong accounting systems skills; Yardi is a plus.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting with timely information.
• Lead external audits and respond to audit requests.
• Contribute to Yardi implementation aligning with reporting needs.
• Coach staff and set clear expectations for development.
