THE TEAMThe mission of the Real Estate Development Programming Department is to represent the Business Owner to ensure the spaces we design & build will meet their functional requirements.
THE OPPORTUNITYAritzia is growing and our Programming (Space Planning) Team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for gathering the functional requirements for our physical spaces on behalf of the Business Owner, delivering the successful completion of high-quality project deliverables, on time, and with accurate programming. As the Sr. Manager/Manager, Space Planning, Real Estate Development, you will collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Creative Store Design, Construction, and the Project Management Office to identify, translate, communicate, and validate programming excellence throughout the development of each project.
THE ROLEAs the Sr. Manager/Manager, Space Planning, you will:
- Define & manage space requirements to ensure consistency & functionality across all projects.
- Create & maintain space planning standards, identifying ways to improve how spaces support daily operations.
- Work closely with Design, Operations, and other teams to make sure layouts meet business needs & reflect the intended use of each space.
- Oversee space planning throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy from early planning through to project completion.
- Keep all teams aligned by providing clear, timely updates and supporting informed decision-making across the business.
THE QUALIFICATIONSThe Sr. Manager/Manager, Space Planning has:
- Experience in space planning or industrial engineering

- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes.
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team.

THE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
