Job summary

The Perfume Shop is seeking friendly, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Christmas Sales Assistants in a busy seasonal role. No prior retail or perfume experience required; training and support are provided.

Contracted Hours: 4 per week. You’ll contribute to delivering memorable experiences, help customers with gifts, and participate in exclusive seasonal offers while stocking and maintaining the store.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Shows willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Works well with others to deliver great customer experiences.
• Comfortable standing and walking in a busy retail environment.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including peak holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Suggest products and assist customers in finding the perfect gift.
• Promote the loyalty programme and explain exclusive offers and savings.
• Wrap gifts beautifully; provide engraving where available.
• Process payments and transactions accurately.
• Maintain store presentation and product availability to a high standard.
• Support colleagues to deliver exceptional service during busy periods.

We're looking for friendly, customer-focused people to join our team as a Christmas Sales Assistant.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and creating memorable experiences. You don't need previous retail or perfume experience to apply. If you enjoy helping people and are keen to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every customer and create a positive shopping experience.
• Recommend products and help customers find the perfect gift.
• Promote our loyalty programme and help customers make the most of exclusive offers and savings.
• Create beautifully wrapped gifts, including gift wrapping and engraving services where available.
• Process payments and transactions accurately.
• Help keep the store looking its best by maintaining high standards of presentation and availability.
• Support your colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience during our busiest time of year.

What You’ll Bring

Working Pattern

Our Christmas roles include a variety of shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends. We'll discuss your availability with you during the recruitment process and do our best to match this with business needs.
