Job summary

Mossvale Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is a friendly, purpose-built facility in Glasgow caring for up to 60 residents. We are hiring a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence and wellbeing, with training and development provided.

The role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans, and working as part of a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment.

Job description

Our care home is situated in the east end of Glasgow and is an impressive custom built facility, which provides care for up to 60-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
