Job summary

Dounemount Care Home is part of BELSIZE HEALTHCARE LIMITED, a division of Care Concern Group, and is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide person-centred support for residents. This role emphasizes dignity, independence and wellbeing within a tranquil setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans and work as part of a caring team. Training and ongoing development are provided to support your journey into care.

Job description

Our care home, located on the outskirts of Macduff, offers excellent Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 34-residents, ensuring top-quality support in a tranquil setting

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
