Meridian Business Support requires an accommodation cleaner to start ASAP at the prestigious events and meeting centre at Cannington Court in Somerset TA5. £13.45 per hour + holiday pay. START ASAP. 20 hours per week – Monday to Friday 08:30-12:30. Temporary opportunity, initially 6 weeks, with possibility of further work for the right candidate. Must have own transport; location not well served by public transport. Free parking. Weekly pay.

• Completing routine and deep cleaning tasks in line with schedules.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining guest accommodation.
• Completing routine and deep cleaning tasks in line with schedules, covering floors, surfaces, toilets, and high‑touch areas.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines.
• Monitoring cleanliness during trading hours and responding promptly to spillages or urgent cleaning needs.
• Replenishing essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly, including following recycling procedures.
• Reporting maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to the relevant manager.
• Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all areas remain clean and presentable.
• Maintaining high personal hygiene standards and using PPE when required.
