We are looking for a React Web Developer to join our innovative team. You will support IoT applications that impact people’s safety, productivity, and the environment.

This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, Canada, and is a temporary position.

What you will be doing

• Develop GIS and data visualization applications impacting safety, productivity, and the environment.
• Implement responsive, visually appealing designs for various devices.
• Rapidly build new, legacy-free web applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and modular code following best practices.
• Debug issues, perform code reviews, and participate in technical discussions.

What you will bring

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web development focusing on React.js and MUI.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit) and frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Websockets, OAuth.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of data plotting libraries like Plotly or SciCharts.
• Experience with GIS frameworks such as ArcGIS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
• Experience building engineering applications.
• Understanding of spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefiles) and visualization techniques.
• Experience in Node.js or C#/.Net is a plus.

Education:

• College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geomatics, or related fields.
• Combination of education and experience considered.

Compensation

This is a temporary full-time position with a salary range of CA$90,000 to CA$130,000 annually, based in Vancouver, BC. Final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location, including bonuses or incentives.
