Electric Mind specializes in delivering custom software applications for complex business and technical challenges. Core development is primarily in Java, Spring, and JavaScript, but our projects may involve various technologies. Recent projects include React, Angular, Moleculer, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, Kotlin, Cloud Foundry, and AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design high-quality, scalable, and extensible applications
• Estimate, task, and prototype
• Contribute clear, maintainable code to shared codebases
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members on features, design, and implementation
• Investigate, learn, and apply new technologies and processes
• Clarify requirements with team and client representatives

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience designing and developing complex, scalable, and extensible applications
• Fluent in Java and React
• Significant cloud platform experience, preferably with AWS or Azure
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Experience designing distributed systems handling large data sets with Apache Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, and Hadoop
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
• Attention to detail in software craftsmanship

Nice to Have Skills/Experience:

• Exposure to Agile practices like automated testing, CI/CD, pair programming
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and ORM tools
• Knowledge of distributed computing and PaaS platforms
• Familiarity with UNIX, Linux, HTTP, and XML
• Experience with automated build, test, and deployment tools
