Job summary

A fast-growing retailer of contemporary furniture is seeking an Order Picker / Reach Operator in Edmonton. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, picking orders, and operating Double Pallet Electric Rider and Reach Truck. Candidates should have at least one year of experience driving a stand-up Reach Truck, a valid Class 2 Reach Truck licence, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Order Picker / Reach Operator

Located in Edmonton, our client first opened as a family business over 40 years ago and has since expanded across Canada. They are a fast-growing retailer of contemporary and modern furniture and are currently looking to hire an Order Picker / Reach Operator. This position runs from Saturday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading trailers manually.
• Picking orders.
• Operating Double Pallet Electric Rider and Reach Truck.
• Actively modelling positive culture, teamwork, and collaboration.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations as per company policy.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

Forklift Operator

They are a fast-growing retailer of contemporary and modern furniture and are currently looking to hire a Forklift Operator. This position runs from Saturday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Our client is a very successful business with over 40 years’ experience providing safe and effective Personal Protective Equipment and are located across Canada. Our Edmonton location is now looking for an experienced operator that has both elevated order picker and reach truck experience and has a valid class 2 forklift license. This position is a contract position that can lead into permanent employment for the right candidate.
