Job summary

Apex Bridge Talent Group is seeking a Telecom Commissioning Engineer for a Mississauga-based project. The contract runs for 12 months and beyond, focusing on executing site testing, system integration, troubleshooting, and final acceptance in line with project requirements and schedules.

You will plan and coordinate commissioning activities, develop a detailed schedule, prepare manuals, and manage reports. Collaboration with third-party providers and government agencies is essential to ensure

Qualifications

5–8 years of telecom engineering experience.
Knowledge of telecom systems for railway industry.
Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or IT degree; P.Eng in Ontario desirable.
1–2 years of railway system engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities to project completion.
Develop and maintain a detailed commissioning schedule and plan.
Prepare commissioning manual and reporting structure for the team.
Coordinate with third-party providers and clients to ensure schedules and sign-offs.
Create pre-commissioning test procedures and correct deficiencies.
Ensure compliance and progress reports per client and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with government agencies to obtain approvals prior to start-up.
Develop quality, environment, and safety commissioning plans.
