Serving freight and tank car fleets across multiple industries, we are committed to safety, compliance, quality, and reliable service.**Job Summary:**The Railcar Technician will be responsible for assisting with the repair requirements of the customers while completing work in a safe and Responsible Care environment.* Organizing all tool areas and maintaining the facility* Servicing, repair and replacement of rail car components, including:* Hopper gates, top hatch covers, running boards, brake shoes, knuckle pins, truck springs, bearing adaptors, friction casting wear plates, etc.* Working from heights and in confined spaces* Exterior/Interior corrosion repairs* Exterior/Interior paint preparation, repairs and stenciling* Inspection and repair of safety appliances* Assisting in setup and teardown of safe work areas* Working both inside the facility and outdoors as required, in all weather conditions* Adhere to health and safety standards, including Procor’s Responsible Care policy* Additional related duties as assigned* Training will be provided by Procor to develop competency in the above tasks* **The regular working hours of this position are as follows:*** 10 & 12 hour shift rotation based on a 40 hour week.
