• 2 years of experience operating on-off track heavy equipment.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Willingness to train less experienced operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of track equipment for maintenance.
• Remove and replace defective track components.
• Travel and work with the machine on rail.

Skills

Ability to operate mid-sized to heavy equipment

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Good understanding of track standards

Basic mechanical aptitude

Education

Valid driver’s license of “G” classification (Ontario)

Previous or current CROR qualification
