Job summary

Alstom in Ottawa, ON is seeking a full-time Maintenance Vehicle Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of the fleet. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs while upholding health, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on maintenance on vehicles, ability to read technical documents, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate with teams. Nights, weekends, and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or certified automotive technician.
• Educational background in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical disciplines.
• Knowledge of rail or vehicle maintenance environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in accordance with quality procedures and maintenance standards.
• Perform maintenance safely, including work on powered-up vehicles.
• Follow health and safety legislation and company policies.
