Job summary

Alstom in Toronto is seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to implement and maintain our cybersecurity platform. You’ll deploy IT applications such as Active Directory, WSUS, Antivirus, Syslog, Radius, and Zabbix, while supporting testing and incident response efforts.

The role requires 5–8 years of IT security experience, knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and security protocols. Collaboration with global cybersecurity teams and cross-functional groups is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience or understanding of IT and security, ideally with 5 to 8 years in the field.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure IT security applications and security devices.
• Perform security engineering tasks including deployment, configuration, and hardening.
• Provide technical support for incidents and testing activities; collaborate with engineering teams.
