Alstom in Toronto, ON seeks a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to implement and maintain a robust security platform across IT and OT environments.
You'll deploy IT applications such as Active Directory, WSUS, antivirus tools, Syslog, Radius, and Zabbix while supporting testing and incident response activities. Strong Windows/Linux knowledge and 5–8 years of security experience are valuable assets.

Could you be the full-time Cybersecurity Platform Engineer in Toronto, ON, we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your strong cybersecurity and IT expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and solution-driven teammates.
You’ll play a key role in implementing and maintaining our cybersecurity platform, ensuring it aligns with design directives and meets contractual project requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as engineering, customer service, and tender teams, to perform a wide range of security engineering tasks, including deployment, configuration, and hardening of security devices and IT applications.
You’ll specifically take care of tasks like deploying IT applications such as Active Directory, WSUS, Antivirus solutions, Syslog, Radius, and Zabbix, but also supporting testing activities and providing technical support for issues and incident responses.

Experience or understanding of IT and security, ideally with 5 to 8 years in the field
Knowledge of IT security products such as Active Directory, WSUS, Antivirus tools, Syslog, Radius, and Zabbix
Familiarity with security protocols (e.g., Radius, VPN, IPsec, SSH) and operating systems like Windows and Linux
A strong foundation in documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
Understanding of networking and network design (advantageous)
Experience with embedded or industrial systems (railway, aeronautics, etc.) is a plus

Salary Range: $80,000 to $105,000 CAD annual
