Job summary

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a Radiation Therapist to perform all aspects of radiation planning and treatment under the guidance of the Radiation Oncologist.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, CMRTO MRT(T) registration, CPR certification, and hospital experience, with strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills to support compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy training program.
• CMRTO registration required – MRT(T).
• Minimum of three (3) months recent Hospital experience required.
• Current CPR certificate required.
• Excellent demonstrated technical, communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work with compassion in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work effectively independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, as well as a member of the interprofessional team.
• Demonstrated commitment to Person Centred Care approach and principles.
