Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a temporary full-time position. You will contribute to the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of radiation therapy to patients and participate in education and ongoing practice improvement.

You will demonstrate knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques, maintain CAMRT/CMRITO standards, and collaborate with an inter-professional team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Radiation Therapy training program.
• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Commitment to integrated education, research and clinical practice.
• Strong work ethic with teaching and supportive care skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient education and symptom management.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for learners and colleagues in education activities.
• Demonstrate expertise in CAMRT CMRTIO standards and department protocols.
• Contribute to high standard of care through application of advanced radiation therapy techniques.
