This position reports to

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

• Project team leadership: Lead and support local and cross-functional project teams, including associate R&D project managers. Motivate and monitor internal and/or external resources to accomplish all targets.

• Project management: Be accountable for end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned projects.

• Value management: Ensure team understanding of customer value in projects and act to ensure customer satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.

• Project execution and control: Prioritize, estimate, and plan project activities. Monitor progress towards milestones and resolve issues or conflicts at the appropriate level.

• Manage uncertainties and risks: Maintain transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events, and risks.

• Projects, processes, and tools: Ensure projects follow sound methodologies aligned with development models (predictive/waterfall, iterative/agile, hybrid) and comply with ABB directives and standards.
