Job summary

Andersen Corporation, based in Strathroy, Ontario, seeks an Ongoing Product Development Lead/Supervisor to own and drive design projects across multiple business teams. This role requires coordinating with operations and collaborating with senior managers, suppliers, and cross-functional groups to meet strategic objectives.

As part of the RD&I team and plant leadership, you will guide complex development efforts, coach a high-performance team, and contribute to safety, quality, delivery and cost

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent mechanical engineering experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in R&D design.
• Experience leading and developing a high-performance team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies with demonstrated ability to drive product development projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Execute product design projects fulfilling both project leader and product design roles.
• Provide technical coaching to direct reports (planning, execution, problem solving, test plan design).
• Identify and deliver design support for business growth and operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
