Job summary

Harris Global Business Services (GBS) in Canada seeks an R&D Coordinator to oversee two Abilis R&D teams. You will align software development, Scrum Master, DBA and quality assurance into a single delivery unit, turning priorities into actionable plans and ensuring end-to-end delivery from planning through release.

Working with Product Management, Professional Service and customer-facing teams, you will create clear accountability from intake to production support.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong expertise in project management, collaboration tools, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Clear, direct communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead two multidisciplinary teams end to end.
• Coordinate delivery across analysis, development, testing, release readiness, and follow-up.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery and accountability.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Directors, and other stakeholders on priorities and roadmap alignment.
