Job summary

JAM Industries, a leading distributor of consumer electronics, pro-audio equipment and musical instruments, is seeking an Independent Sales Representative for Erikson Consumer in Quebec. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage and grow brand sales within the territory and build strong relationships with retailers and other accounts.

Responsibilities include training staff, merchandising, prospecting new business, maintaining product knowledge, and representing JAM at trade shows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Consumer Electronics Independent Sales Representative.
• Knowledge of territory and commercial retailers.
• Strong drive to identify, secure, and grow new business opportunities.
• Ability to work with retailers, end-users, consultants, etc.
• Experience with and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work with management to meet sales objectives.
• Knowledge of MAP pricing policies.
• Knowledge of promotional calendars.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support existing accounts with inventory, training, merchandising, and promotions.
• Prospect new business via cold calling to potential and current customers.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries to drive sales growth.
• Maintain product knowledge and inform customers about offerings.
• Expand distribution by securing new brand listings and customers.
• Represent the brands at trade shows, seminars, and meetings.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and strengthen client relationships.
• Contribute to weekly calls and sales meetings to boost performance.
