Job summary

RBC is seeking a Quantum Safety Lead to own the end-to-end PQC migration program across Canada and the United States. You will coordinate a matrixed set of technology risk, business, and security teams to reduce post-quantum exposure and align with regulatory expectations.

The role requires deep cybersecurity program governance, executive communication, and the ability to secure funding and executive sponsorship for a complex, high-priority initiative.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity or technology risk with enterprise program delivery.
• Experience in regulated financial institutions and OSFI/US regulators is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into board-ready narratives.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise PQC migration roadmap and delivery across Canada and the US.
• Translate threat horizons into funding asks and risk decisions.
• Lead a cross-functional delivery structure across infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Establish cryptographic agility as an engineering standard across SDLC and vendor governance.
• Manage regulatory engagement across multi-jurisdictional footprint.
