We are looking for a Quantitative Equity Analyst to join our Quantitative Equity Team! We are a high-performance team embedded in a top-performing quant fund, dedicated to the mission-critical operation of our investment engine—a well-tuned machine responsible for generating key decisions that drive trades and investment insights. Leveraging finance skills and cutting-edge technology, we ensure data quality, continuous process improvement, and operational excellence.

As a core member of our team, you'll collaborate with investment experts to tackle challenging analytical problems, be accountable to ensure accurate and timely trade generation, and drive operational innovation. What You Will Do
This full-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about learning the quantitative equity investment management business and eager to tackle investment, mathematical, and technology challenges.

You will undergo comprehensive training to learn about various aspects of quantitative equity investment management and our processes.

Following training, you will utilize data science and process engineering skills to support and enhance our investment functions, including building, scaling, managing, and analyzing models, portfolios, and data assets.

You will receive coaching and mentorship from senior team members to support your career growth.

Investment Process Management
You will join our Investment Process Management (IPM) group, which develops scalable, efficient, and robust process systems critical for systematic investment insights and daily trade generation. This role offers opportunities for career growth within IPM or across other teams such as Research, Portfolio Construction, or Trading.

Skills
Our functions primarily require expertise in two areas:

Process and Reliability Engineering

  • Design, implement, and test production processes for alpha, risk, portfolio optimization, and market implementation.
  • Create high-performance, robust process orchestration systems.
  • Monitor production health and respond to issues promptly.
  • Communicate real-time issues effectively to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve computational bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to meet process needs.
  • Identify areas for process improvement.
  • Assess data quality of production processes.
  • Maintain clean code and tools within production systems.
Data Science
  • Develop algorithms for exploring and assessing data.
  • Validate data quality for structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Design data loaders and matching processes.
  • Perform data analysis to support research projects.
  • Maintain machine learning pipelines with proper auditing.
  • Document data assets and ensure data clarity.
  • Develop methodologies for data analysis in time-critical environments.
  • Address vendor data issues effectively.
  • Integrate traditional and alternative data sources into analytical frameworks.
  • Present findings clearly to stakeholders.
