Job summary

RBC Global Asset Management in Toronto is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join its Quantitative Research and Investments team. You will deliver custom technology and analytics solutions to support quantitative processes and help productionize research.

You will work with Python and MATLAB to build and support models, apply financial knowledge, and collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent with Python and pandas for data analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB (or willingness to learn it), capable of producing and supporting quantitative models and portfolio optimizations.
• Good SQL skills for constructing complex queries.
• Experience working with financial data and financial calculations.
• Proven mathematical and statistical skills.

Must-have

• Excellent with Python and pandas for doing data analysis

Nice-to-have

• Understanding of investment industry, especially via experience in asset management and quantitative style of investing
