SALARY : $22.65 / hour

SHIFT : 6 : 00 AM- 2 : 30 PM

8 : 30 AM- 5 : 00 PM

11 : 30 AM-8 : 00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze brewing, packaging and micro results performing follow up where required
• Interpret and review data to find non-conformances in both the product and the process
• Communicate data clearly and effectively, raising any identified quality issues in a timely manner
• Complete all testing as per the Minimum Sampling Plan
• Use good data management practices maintaining current and accurate records
• Ensure all blocking actions of non-conforming product are completed
• Calibrate and maintain all laboratory equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab through completion of the Master Cleaning Schedule
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field preferred
• Good communication and teamwork
• Able to work under minimal supervision within a team
• Able to set priorities and work to meet pre-determined objectives
• Able to work shift work
• Relevant and applicable experience in Quality Control in a food production environment
• Desire to innovate and ensure continuous improvement
• Brewery experience an asset
