Job summary

Lactalis Canada in Belleville, Ontario seeks a Quality Systems Supervisor responsible for developing and maintaining CFIA HACCP, QMS, FSSC and HALAL programs across the plant.

You will lead internal audits, support regulatory audits, train staff on quality and food safety, manage documentation, and collaborate on product initiatives. A university degree in food science and HACCP certification are preferred, with strong SAP/Excel skills and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High self-motivation and results-driven attitude.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Access and SAP.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to train individuals and teams.
• Organized and able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Direct work experience in food manufacturing with HACCP Level 1/2 certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CFIA HACCP, QMS, FSSC and HALAL programs across the plant.
• Support change management through documentation updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory food safety requirements and programs.
• Manage Internal Quality Audit Program including audits and corrective actions.
• Lead external customer and regulatory audits.
• Provide training on quality and food safety programs to facility staff.
• Maintain in-house product specifications and support product initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and records management.
• Supervise documentation compliance staff and cross-train in other roles.
