Job Overview
The Quality Management System Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization's products, services, and processes meet established quality standards. This position involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering continuous improvement across all operational areas. This role will also be responsible of administering the JDRF Document Control system (Autodesk Fusion).
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance
Support the implementation, and maintenance of the quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or industry-specific standards).
Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
Lead in the generation, update, and documenting of QMS processes, manuals, and procedures (e.g., SOPs).
Ensure organizational compliance with regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update practices accordingly.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Process Monitoring and Improvement
Analyze standard operational procedural workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with departments to implement process enhancements and best practices.
Track and report quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
Training and Awareness
Organize training sessions for employees on quality policies, procedures, and standards.
Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.
QMS Audit Findings Resolution
Investigate and resolve QMS audit non-compliance issues.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
Maintain records of incidents and actions taken.
Documentation and Reporting
Perform administration duties for all documentation releases (e.g. NPI design docs., Procurement Specifications, Assembly Procedures, etc.,) in the JDRF Autodesk Fusion PLM system.
Coordinate the distribution and implementation of change management requirements (e.g., ECNs, ECRs).
Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of audits, reviews, and compliance activities.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools, preferably Autodesk Fusion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in a quality-related role is highly desirable.
