Job summary

Freudenberg Flow Technologies in Nisku, AB is seeking a Quality Inspector to support QMS features and verify components against drawings and specifications. You will assist with sales contract review, work order release, and customer purchase order verification.

Ideal candidates have experience reading engineering blueprints/CAD drawings, GD&T understanding, and proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook in a production environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience using measuring tools ( Vernier, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to verify conformance to specs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD documents.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience in a production setting with documentation tasks and computer use.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or API quality systems is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify components against drawings and customer specifications before release.
• Assist with QMS-related features for sales contracts, work orders and PO verification.
• Read and decipher engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Ensure conformance to customer and company standards and maintain related documentation.
