Descriptif mission
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes inspection equipment, both precision and non-precision, to perform inspection of product characteristics as documented on work package documentation and as outlined in product drawings.
- Determines acceptance or rejection of product characteristics based on documented acceptance criteria and industry standards.
- Processes documentation related to work packages and performs associated data entry.
- Prepares FAI documentation as required by work packages, supports maintenance and data entry into FAI database and associated worksheets.
- Prepares FAI inspection reports using DISCUS and customer-designated software.
- Performs inspection activities for IIQP, RIQP, FIQP requirements for customer deliveries.
- Conducts in-process audits of manufacturing orders.
- Supports tool validation and calibration processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a Canadian citizen or have Permanent Residency to qualify under the Control Goods Program Canada.
- College Diploma in mechanical, manufacturing engineering technology, or a related discipline. CQT or CQE designation is an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Operational knowledge of quality inspection and documentation such as PPAP, FAI, FPI, CMM reports.
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, practical and meticulous.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, from shop floor to CEO.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); knowledge of Lotus Notes is an asset.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and specifications.
- Capable of working well in a small team and independently.
- Adherence to Safran Production guidelines and Policies & Procedures as per AS9100 QMS.
- Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
