  • Five years of related experience, preferably in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform PPAP layouts.
  • Must be capable of interpreting and writing CMM programs.
  • Knowledge of TS-16949 requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Test and sample raw materials and incoming products to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Perform first off inspections, part layouts, receiving inspection, in process inspection, final audits, LPA, and gauge repeatability studies
  • Responsible for approving products for distribution
  • Initiate corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies
  • Analyze reports and returned products and recommend corrective action
  • Assist in the general operation and the day-to-day demands of the Quality Department
  • Schedule or assign inspection duties
  • Issue Nonconforming Material Tags
  • Train inspection personnel
  • Operate CMM and have basic CMM programming skills
Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Five years of related experience, preferably in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform PPAP layouts
  • Must be capable of interpreting and writing CMM programs
  • Knowledge of TS-16949 requirements
