Job summary

Linamar Corporation in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Quality Inspector, Level 3 for a straight night shift. You will inspect products, perform quality audits, initiate corrective actions, and provide leadership and training to junior inspectors.

Responsibilities include testing materials, performing audits, and approving distributions while supporting the quality department with daily operations in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of TS-16949 requirements and PPAP layouts.

Responsibilities

• Test and sample materials to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform first-off inspections, part layouts, receiving and in-process inspections; initiate corrective actions.
• Approve products for distribution and analyze reports/defects to recommend corrective action.
• Operate CMM and perform basic CMM programming.
