Essential Responsibilities:

1. Perform field inspections, including concrete, piling, structural erection and earthworks.
2. Review inspection and testing results for conformity to requirements.
3. Collaborate with Operations and provide input on the Quality requirements for the development of Detailed Execution Plans; clearly identifying the required inspections, hold points, tests and required documentation.
4. Understand and interpret applicable contract documents, codes of construction and regulatory standards.
5. Present information clearly and in appropriate style and make technical information clear.
6. Schedule inspection and testing resources to support the requirements of operations.
7. Ensure all Inspection and Testing equipment is managed in accordance with the equipment calibration requirements.
8. Ensure non-conforming work is being managed in accordance with the project quality issues reporting procedures.
9. Manage and maintain Quality Document Logs.
10. Review, report and act on performance metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma an asset.
2. Demonstrated technical knowledge of codes and standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
3. 4+ years’ quality coordinator experience in a construction environment is required.
4. Exposure to coordinating inspections of offsite suppliers and subcontractors is essential.
5. Strong computer background, proficient in Microsoft Office.
6. Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, a positive and team-oriented approach to work.

Work Conditions:

• This is a site-based position.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 annually. This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
