Job summary

You will inspect containers and products, record data, and ensure compliance with specifications while coordinating with other departments to resolve issues. On-site work with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with specific programs (Famous, Clarifresh, RedLine) is an asset.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.
• Positive attitude, punctual and eager to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Inspect containers, materials and products to meet packing specs using CFIA/USDA standards.
• Move, obtain and sort products, materials, containers and orders.
• Measure, weigh and count products and materials.
• Record product, packaging and order information on forms and records.
• Verify accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments by comparing with manifests or invoices.
• Communicate issues with team leader, supervisor or manager.
• Use mobile apps to take photos and prepare quality reports.
• Support and drive achievement of company KPIs and goals.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Environmental Health & Safety policies.
