AtkinsRéalis is hiring a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector (Construction) to join our team. This position will be based at our project site located in Toronto, Ontario.

The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders on-site.

Your role within the team
  • Monitor, observe, and evaluate construction work to ensure it conforms with the Contract Documents and quality requirements.
  • Ensure that the contractor is taking the necessary steps to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the construction process.
  • Prepare daily reports and provide updates to the Construction Manager.

The ideal candidate
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a construction inspector within large airport or aerospace infrastructure projects.
  • Proven previous experience supporting complex major airport projects or aerospace infrastructure projects.
  • Availability to work five days per week (Monday to Friday) at project site.
  • Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.
  • Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
  • Availability to work in person five days per week at project office.
