Job summary

Anduril Industries in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our rapidly growing team. You will visually, manually, and digitally inspect products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards and QMS requirements.

You will measure dimensions with calipers and metrology, run tests, document data, and communicate quality standards to Technicians, leads, and managers. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting: Visually, manually, and digitally examining products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards as described by engineering, both internal and external, as well as quality management system (QMS) requirements.
  • Measuring: Using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and/or metrology to measure product dimensions to verify they match the design.
  • Testing: Running tests to identify defects and using machines to test products via Tap testing, manual testing, and NDT/NDI methods.
  • Comparing: Comparing products to a model to ensure they meet high standards
  • Recording: Reporting inspection and test data, such as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected
  • Adjusting: Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Rejecting: Removing/Red tagging products and materials that don't meet specifications until the issue is resolved.
  • Communicating: Communicating product quality standards to Technicians, leads, and managers.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our rapidly growing team in Morrisville, North Carolina.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
  • High School graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years of Composite Fabrication or aerospace equivalent experience
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally
  • Polished communication and presentation skills

US Hourly Range: $30.01—$41.01 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
