Job summary

PepsiCo in Calgary is seeking a qualified Quality/Operations supervisor to set frontline performance standards and align the site with quality objectives. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and strong collaboration with the QC team to meet health, safety, and customer expectations.

Your background includes leading frontline staff, coordinating production activities, and ensuring GMP adherence in a consumer-packaged goods environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of Operations or Logistics experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or related industry a plus.
  • Front-line supervisory skills required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and process knowledge for water treatment/wastewater, product batching, product testing and supplier capability.
  • Maintains site Food Safety Plan and supports QC manager in food safety audit preparation and execution.
  • Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices with regards to micro/sanitation and pest control chemicals.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of production equipment and its impact on quality.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments.
  • Trains others in product characteristics, attributes and QC testing procedures.
  • Responds to and reduces consumer complaints.
  • Uses sound judgment in customer and consumer issues and crisis management.
  • Sets frontline performance standards providing coaching and feedback to build capability.
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for frontline hourly personnel.
  • Ensures compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
