Location/Region: This position is located in the Toronto area.

Role Overview: As a QEHS Manager, you will work with a vital team at Carl Zeiss Vision Canada, focusing on process enhancement and compliance in quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary support role for Quality and compliance (environmental and occupational health & safety) in the RX Lab and CE&Fs in Canada, implementing and managing a results-oriented Quality Management program based on the ZEISS Management System (Quality and EHS).
• Lead the QEHS function across all Canadian locations, supporting regulatory activities and initiatives under the direction of the President of Carl Zeiss Vision Canada Inc., with functional reporting to the Regional (NALA) Director, Quality/EHS/Regulatory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or technical degree in a technology discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485, Health Canada Medical Devices Regulations, and Canadian Environmental and OHS requirements, including ISO 14001.
• Experience with Quality Tools (DMAIC, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, SPC, GR&R).
• Minimum 4 years of auditing QMS & EHS.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Minitab/SPC software.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, with valid credentials.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
