Semtech Corporation in Burlington, ON is offering a 16-month co-op internship in the engineering quality field. You will join a dynamic team environment to test and validate customer return material using lab equipment and participate in quality improvement projects.

You will collaborate with mentors, gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment, and develop problem-solving skills while contributing to root cause investigations and process enhancements.

Formación

• 16-month co-op/internship for 3rd or 4th year engineering students.
• Enrolled in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering Physics, or related degree.
• Knowledge of semiconductors, ICs, lasers/photonics.
• Familiar with common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, meters, etc.).
• Proven problem solving, troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and manage time effectively.
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• On-site full-time 5 days a week.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct testing and validation of customer return material using lab equipment and platform test systems.
• Support and drive root cause analysis of customer and internal failures.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and test houses for engineering services.
• Maintain and improve internal quality processes and databases.
• Support Failure Analysis Platform bring up for NPI and develop in-house capabilities.
• Support product quality investigations for defect reduction and customer satisfaction.
