The Quality Engineer ensures that products meet customer expectations, oversees quality control, and ensures products comply with standards and specifications. This role demands strong leadership skills, data analysis capabilities, and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Satisfaction :
- Ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns professionally and promptly, and protect the company's (PES) interests.
- Monitor customer portal to ensure the company's ratings reflect fair scores.
Quality Systems and Quality Engineering
- Drive the 8D process to resolve internal and external issues.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to develop suppliers that meet the company's requirements, ensuring quality of incoming materials.
- Develop and implement quality management systems, control processes, procedures, and policies to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Perform audits of quality control processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
Team Work and Team Building
- Communicate effectively across teams, departments, and stakeholders to align quality control with business objectives.
- Train team members on quality processes, procedures, and policies.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for new product or service development, integrating quality control into the process.
Reporting Structure :
- Reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

- Number of Customer Complaints: aim to reduce to zero.
- 8D Response Rate: respond within customer requirements.
- Scrap Rate: collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
- At least 3+ years of proven manufacturing engineering experience in the automotive industry.
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends.
- Strong communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders effectively.
