Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in administration business principles and/or management system elements.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring information repositories, frameworks and/or business models.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues effectively.
  • Experience developing, implementing and monitoring operational improvements resulting in more efficient and effective processes, procedures and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating support to staff within the Quality Departments to enable timely task execution.
  • Supporting the Quality Management Team including HR tasks, calendar/meeting coordination, and data verification with basic analysis.
  • Reviewing and advising on the Annual Program of Work and Budget.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights for decision making.
  • Collecting, cleaning and analyzing data using tools like Excel, Power BI, and DevonWay to generate insights.
  • Planning, facilitating, and participating in required meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Our Chalk River location is looking for a Quality Coordinator to play an important role in supporting the effective coordination of departmental operations, preparing timely and accurate analyses and reports, facilitating audit activities, and contributing to core business processes. this may be the job for you

What will you be doing!
  • Coordinating support to staff within the Quality Departments to enable timely task execution.
  • Providing support to the Quality Management Team including (but not limited to) human resources (recruitment, performance, training); calendar and meeting coordination; generating/compiling/auditing/reconciling/verifying data/with basic analysis.
  • Reviewing and providing recommendations on the Annual Program of Work and Budget.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that support decision making.
  • Collecting, cleaning and analyzing data using appropriate tools (ie: Excel, Power BI, DevonWay) to generate actionable insights, identify opportunities, and support process improvements.
  • Planning, facilitating, and participating in meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What We Are Looking For
  • Education
    • University or college graduation in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience, is required.
  • Experience

    • Proven ability to build and nurture constructive relationships and partnerships across internal organizations/groups, and with industry and external regulators.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop well-informed advice and strategies that are sensitive to the various needs of multiple stakeholders and partners, reflecting the strategic direction of CNL (Canadian Nuclear Laboratories), and positioning CNL for success.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility Required
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
Working Conditions
  • Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
