Job Title : Food Manufacturing Quality Control Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Control and Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Perform quality checks on all products and materials to ensure compliance with company standards
• Oversee the production process to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards
• Implement and maintain food safety and quality control programs
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all processes
• Monitor and verify equipment calibration, maintenance, and cleaning procedures
• Train and supervise production staff in food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
• Create product labels to identify finished goods
• Understand purchase orders and their impact on the production schedule, ensuring timely receipt of materials and supplies to meet production needs
• Assist in other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, MAPAQ certificate or equivalent certification in food safety and quality would be an asset.
• Proven experience in quality control, inventory management, and manufacturing
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
