Job summary

Canterbury in Richmond, BC, is hiring a Quality Technician to support the Manufacturing team as a full-time, permanent member. You will conduct and document lab analyses of raw materials and finished products and verify on-line sampling and quality checks to ensure top quality output.

You should have post-secondary education in Food Science/Technology (BSc or diploma preferred) and training in SQF, HACCP, and GMP. Strong attention to detail and ability to work shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with lab analyses of materials and products.
• Training in SQF, HACCP and GMP desirable.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $48,000.00 To $58,000.00 Annually

Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated Quality Technician to support the Manufacturing team at our Richmond branch as a full-time, permanent member of the team.

As a part of the Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting lab analyses of raw materials & finished products. You will also continuously perform and verify on-line sampling and quality checks of products ensuring the highest quality output.

You have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Post-secondary education, BSc, Bachelors/Diploma in Food Science/Technology, or equivalent is preferred
• SQF, HACCP, and GMP training

You are great at:

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
