Job summary

Bio Agri Mix LP in Mitchell, Ontario is seeking a motivated Quality Control (QC) Chemist. The full-time, on-site role reports to the QC Manager and focuses on chemical, physical, spectroscopic, and chromatographic testing of raw materials and finished medicated feed additives to ensure Health Canada, FDA, and HACCP compliance.

Salary range $50,000–$55,000 CAD per year with benefits after a 90-day probation, a group RRSP plan after probation, and a $1,000 holiday bonus pro-rated based on start

Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. in Chemistry or related science
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical QC laboratory operations preferred
• LC-MS experience considered an asset

Quality Control (QC) Chemist - Full-Time, Permanent

Company Overview

Bio Agri Mix LP has been a leading Canadian manufacturer of animal feed medicants and animal health products for over 40 years. Located in Mitchell, Ontario, we are a Health Canada licensed, FDA approved, and HACCP certified facility serving the Canadian market.

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to join our growing QC team to fill an open position.

Position Overview

The QC Chemist reports into the QC Manager. They perform laboratory analyses and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with Health Canada, FDA, and HACCP guidelines for manufacturing medicated feed additives.

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per annum. Salary will be commensurate with knowledge and related experience.
• Health Benefits: Eligible after a successful 90-day probation period
• Group RSP Plan: Eligible after a successful 90-day probation period
• Holiday Bonus: $1,000 (pro-rated based on start date and active days worked)

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | and Friday 8:00 AM - 4 PM

Work Arrangement: On-site position - reliable daily commuting or relocation prior to starting is required.

• LC-MS experience considered an asset
